The company was founded in the year 2001 for the purpose of launching business projects in the touristic branch in general, and hotels in particular, both in the country and abroad.
The company is owned by Mr. Wisam Tabar, a third generation member of the Tabar family well-known and respected in the hospitality industry. Mr. Wisam Tabar, has been involved in the hotel business since 1988, accompanied by his father, Mr. Joseph Tabar, co-owner of the Grand New Hotel, known for over 50 years as one of the finest first hotels in Nazareth, and boasting a highly known monitine for decades.

The young Mr. Wisam Tabar founded Bordeaux Hotels and Recreation Ltd., for the sole purpose of developing, investing and initiating projects in tourism in general, and hotels in particular, both in the country and abroad. The vision of the company is a worldly chain of managing and operating hotels including a wide range of clientele.

The company recruits the best mangers in the business and financial areas in general, and in touristic areas in particular including financial investments.

Projects Developed by the company

The year 2003-2004 During this period the touristic and hotel industry was severely harmed in a financial crisis following the second intifada – however, Bordeaux company launched its first business in local tourism, invested and operated a tourist site called " SHELLDAG" which included rooms, restaurant, pub, parking lot for sailing boats and maritime sports alongside Moshavat Kineret.

Years 2005-2006 The company widened its activities and founded its first sub-company, TABAR Hotels Ltd., aiming at restoring, managing and operating the previous Grand New Hotel. After huge investments in restoring the building of the hotel, and placing same on the tourist map with its new name "TABAR Hotels" the company achieved its goal and the hotels is managed and run by expert staff and offers the best of quality services to its clients. Furthermore, Bordeaux operated and managed the "SIRAJ" restaurant, a gourmet high-class restaurant at the hotel.

Year 2007 The company rented its gourmet high class restaurant to Mr. Dukhul, owner of a most exclusive and of highest standards monitine "DIANA Restaurant" – well known in the restaurants industry.

Year 2008 Bordeaux Hotels & Recreation Ltd. continues its vision and aims at widening its horizons in the hospitality industry, inspecting serious business possibilities in the hotels realms both in the country and abroad.

These days the company is inspecting a number of financial deals in the hotels' industry to widen its activities, locally improving and enlarging the "TABAR Hotels" while on the international level – aiming to purchase and manage hotels in Florida – USA.
